Canadian triple jumper Divya Biswal, representing the Ottawa Lions, produced a first-round effort of 43-10.75 (13.38m) to achieve a personal best and prevail at the 25th Beach Invitational at Long Beach State's Jack Rose Track. Biswal rebounded after the first loss of her season in five competitions at the Bryan Clay Invitational, where she jumped 43-8 (13.31m) at Azusa Pacific University the day before, to deliver her best mark of the year.
